Automotive Management Live 2021 saw the UK motor trade return to face-to-face networking, and Honcho was proud to be exhibiting at the show.
After close to two years of Zoom calls, virtual conferences and digital networking, the return of face-to-face trade shows has been hugely welcomed by businesses across the UK. Following our presence at the British Motor Show in the summer, November 11th saw us up-sticks and head to the massive Birmingham NEC for a day focussing on all things automotive trade at the Automotive Management Live 2021 exhibition.
Trade shows are one of the oldest forms of business networking yet, despite the technological advances competing for attention these days, they remain one of the best ways of meeting with industry colleagues and creating new connections. It was with both of these in mind that we took a stand at the NEC for AM Live 2021.
The show featured providers from across the automotive spectrum including dealer management system suppliers, finance providers and a myriad of businesses covering every end of the motor trade market. Honcho, however, were the only road risk insurance provider exhibiting at the show.
The exhibition was really well attended, with hundreds of visitors packing the hall and enjoying their opportunity to get back to meeting in person.
Trade shows tend to rely on attracting the attention of those passing your stand, but for us this one was different. Right from the very start we were approached by motor dealer groups and others from within the trade who had made a specific point of coming to see Honcho to learn about our propositions for the automotive trade. It was an exceptional day for us, with dozens of really positive discussions held about how Honcho can help those within the motor trade to differentiate their businesses and compete in what is a rapidly changing market, and we’ve already got a diary full of some really interesting follow-up discussions.
Thanks to the organisers of AM Live, and to everyone that made the time to come and talk insurance with us. We’ll be back!
